To make a long story short, I am considering trading my 02 expedition for a 2001 Tahoe LT; however, there are a couple things that have me stumped regarding the hoe.

The ABS and emergency brake light will randomly turn on after a few minutes of driving, is anyone familiar with this problem? I have read that sometimes the sensors on the hubs go bad or may need cleaning, but the guy I may get this Tahoe from told me that the dealership told him the ABS computer needs to be replaced (1200 bucks they say). For some reason I find it hard to believe that I would need to replace the ABS computer.

I am open to all suggestions, thanks for your time.

I have the same issue in my 02 Tahoe. When I do a diagnostic the reader says no errors. I don't know where to start troubleshooting.

Try cleaning your battery cables at the battery and the grounds on all ends. There is a smaller ground wire that leads from the - on the battery down to the lower core support near the tow hook on the drivers side. Remove the bolt, clean all surfaces thoroughly and re-assemble. Also do the same with the ground under the drivers' door on the frame and the third one down by the fuel filler.

Clear the codes and your problem should go away.
