Change-out rear door(s)

Am looking at Tahoes in the 1993-1999 range and wondering: can the drop/lift rear doors be replaced with the "barn door" version?

The 1996 Tahoe 2-door which I am about to buy, has barn doors. I thought at least beginning 1996, Tahoe models came with barn doors.

Don't think so; have found at least on '99 with drop/lift rather than barn doors, so think it has been just model-specific or some such.

All I know too they are avail on '99. It seems only a few are appreciating the barn doors.
