I have a 2007 Tahoe that has an engine light the comes on from time to time and then goes off....I had a friend with a diagnostic tool and showed the P0303 error code "misfire cylinder 3". I've read about this and my car has NO symptoms whatsoever....not sure what the problem is, I checked the obvious why the engine light comes on "gas cap".....
Also "Stabilitrack needs service" seems to come on from time to time as well. If it stays on, take it to the dealer according to the manual but if it goes off, everything is OK.....Irritating more than anything when light and chime comes on while driving then goes off after a few blocks.
Any advise before I bring it to the dealer and spend $$$$? I have 43k miles on the car so warranty is no longer valid unless it's powertrain.....
