The other day while traveling with my Tahoe and the cruise engaged. The road was rough and bumpy, but it also was asphalt. As I was going down the road, the cruise all of a sudden released. I reset it and a little while later down the road it released again. A little history from a year ago. The cruise was not working and I replaced the brake switch and all was good since then. So after resetting the cruise again, I held my foot on the backside of the brake pedal and pulled up on it so it would not possibly hit the switch and release the cruise. The cruise did release again. Next thing I did was to time how long the cruise would stay on. that was several minutes in the cruise release. I then took a mileage reading. When the odometer change at a mileage, I would reset the cruise. At exactly 3 miles the cruise would release again. I did this three times and the same thing happened. At 3 miles the cruise would release. Does anyone have any thoughts of why it would do this?
