I believe the Yukon's use the low beam as a DRL which would mean your HID's would be on all the time.

On the Tahoe/Suburbans the DRL is a seperate bulb, so no worries.



I also installed the seperate wiring harness. I didnt want to chance the stock wiring.


That is correct, my DRL's are part of the headlight.

With the harness, I don't have an issue with the DRL's lighting up the HID's
