well changing door pin and bushings in my drivers side door started normal and ended up with me having to cut and resplice the wireing between the door and the truck, lots of beating with hammers and cussing. the bushings ende up haing to be pressed in with channel locks and a hammer while the door was on the grass sense i couldent get the door to work with me. its a really bad desigh in my opinion, while he pins are easy enough to change if you can control the door, if the holes get worn oval there is no way to get fix it cause the hinge brackets are welded on. i was a ford guy, changed cause ford let me down last coupe years but i will say this, at least they had removable hinges that could at least be replaced. the door now works fine, and having re spliced the wires all the power locks ect still work. i dont like the design but its at least done. the bad part is that the door will need to be replaced at some future date cause it has a dent in it lol.
