Door jam switch?

On my 2007 Tahoe when you turn the key to off and the engine stops, the radio still plays etc until you open the drivers door, at least that is how it is supposed to work.
Lately it might take 3 or 4 times opening and closing the drivers door for everything to shut off.
I have looked for a door switch and not found one, (maybe I'm not looking hard enough)
Any ideas or suggestion or ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Been away from shops for a while but isn't the newer models now having that switch at the latch assembly? I may be way off because of rust on the brain cells.
