Hi there new to tahoe forum just wondering ifanyone can help me out here yesterdayon my 08 hoe 4x4 my passenger side door lock wouldn't open with the key fob never had an issue with it until now thinking its probably the actuator and from what I've heard on other forums replacement is around 200 bucks!! Is it common to just blow like that without showing signs of wear and is there another way of getting it working again, also if this helps just tried to program the tpms only to find the monitors aren't there to begin with

They fail just like any other electrical component such as a light bulb as an example some bulbs fail gradually you tap it a little and it turns on till it eventually just gives out and theres the ones that you flip the switch and it blows out just as quick as it turned on.. if I were you just get a GM one seriously what good is a life time warranty if you have to be changing it out every 3 to 6 months and there not very difficult to replace if and once you get one PM me and I can walk you through it
