Dots in navigation

Hi there,

as said I wonder what the dots are in the nav system? They seem to follow some streets but not all on them. Any idea what they try to stand for?

I believe that is the off road tracking for the navigation. Check your Navigation menu and see if you have the off road tracking selected, turning that off will make the dots disappear.

This is correct!! It bugged me for a while too!! it's in the menu button then hit nav and off road.

Ok, thanks. But what this mode is for?

It's for if you go off road or a road name does not show up on your nav. you will be able to follow the dots to get back where you came from if the roads are not listed.

Yes, it's like sophisticated bread crums. Use it a lot on my hand held when on the lake. Very nice.
