Help! I have a 99 Tahoe with 75k miles in it that is in near new condition and having some electrical issues. The fuse that controls the blinkers and back up lights keeps blowing. I have had it to 2 different service stations, independent and a dealer and neither can find an issue.

Anyone have any thoughts?

OH NO!!!! Did you feed them after midnight? Get them wet? :-)

Do you have a Meter with current capability? If so use it in DC Current mode (would be preferable to have an external fuseholder with a fuse inline with this setup also, connect one lead to one side of fuseholder, other lead to external fuseholder/fuse, and other lead of external fuseholder to the one in the dash. Check your lights current draw as you normally would use them and watch the current draw.

What size of fuse are you using? What position in the fuseblock is the fuse? Is there any external backup lamps installed?

I assume you have checked over the wiring harness real good.....
