Exterior courtesy lights circuit.. IE Puddle lights

Does anybody with the side puddle lights know if they have a dedicated circuit just for the exterior courtesy lights and where it is. I am thinking of adding some LED lights under the running boards for when I unlock they car but only really want them to come on when I unlock the doors.
