Fan speed #1 not working

Just recently i noticed on my 01 Tahoe, that fan controller speed #1 doesn't work, but 2-5 works fine. I tried changing the switch but that wasn't the problem.

Any ideas what it could be?

LOL, I just logged on today for the same-ish reason. Mine is not working on 1,2 or 3. But 4 & 5 work fine. There's probly some kind of relay stuck under the dash somewhere but I'm not sure.

in your case I've heard its the fan control module, located in the fan housing on the passenger side of the vehicle but in may case I'm not sure being 2-5 work fine.

When i enter blower resistor i get one picture and the number associated with your reply i get a different piece.

I looked it up at Rock Auto. Year, make and model and 5.3 engine. Electrical relays and switches. Chose relay. Lowest part is the AC Delco on the list of choices. Description says w/resistor.
