I have a 2005 Tahoe with the 5.3 in it and was wondering what the fuel pressure should be..

thanks for the help...

If I am not mistaken the idle pressure should be 50-55 psi and when throttle should be closer to 60 psi and then drop a little when maintain a cruise speed rpm. Make sure fuel filter is freshened every now and then, every 30k is my choice. When you shut off the engine the pressure should not bleed off.

Did it happen to say where it is located? I have looked and can not find it. Online research say 2004 and up are in tank..

Some of the notes at Rock Auto may shed more light but I didn't check that. You may have just the filter in the tank if there is not one in line anywhere.

What is the fuel pressure suppose to be on 03 Tahoe 5.3 flex fuel?

Ok thank you. I was thinking their was a difference between flex and a regular motor.
