Gasket Question

Hello All,
I am wondering if someone could give me some insight on changing the gaskets for the oil and transmission pans on a 1997 tahoe.

It seems to be pretty straight forward but figured there are always problems when things appear easy so any tips or problems I may face (or hopefully avoid) would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, don't over-tighten the bolts. Get a Chiltons or Haynes manual and follow the proceedure. There is a torque sequence as well as a loosening sequence you should follow. It's not rocket science.
