GM made two mistakes on the Tahoe since they came out in 1995.
First was discontinuing the drop tail gate. I know women didn't like bending over it but it gave you 8 feet supported for cargo.
Second was making the 3rd row seats mandatory rather than an option. To me a 60/40 flat folding 2nd row seats was the perfect combination of seating and cargo space for many people. SUVs should never have been turned into soccer mom vehicles.
