First off I'd like to say how much I've enjoyed this forum and the wealth of knowledge within it. This is my first post, so be gentle!

I attempted searching the forum for my problem prior to posting and didn't find anything that fit my issue. I'm hearing the blinking sound the blinkers/hazards make as well as a buzzing sound randomly while driving. All of the lights are working properly outside of the vehicle as well as within. Nothing weird is lighting up on the instrument panel either. I recently replaced all of my outside lights and lenses, but I was hearing the sound prior to that. I have checked all fuses and they are all good to go. It typically won't start until after using the blinker for the first time. Also, I don't know if this is pertinent or not, it may just be me getting OCD about it, but I think I'm noting a slight delay with my right side blinker the first couple of times I use it while driving. It doesn't seem to happen after the first time or two it is used. Thank you for any help/ideas/advice you can throw my way.

I believe those turn signal switches are tad more pricey than $15. I've actually looked some up online b/c a buddy of mine told me that's what he thought the problem was. I was just hoping to find more info from this forum, seeing as how everyone here has a vehicle like mine and considerably more knowledge than my buddy and I!

i would pull out the existing flasher and go for a test ride, if there is no noise, then put it back in and go for another test ride, if there is a noise than you know it is that part

OR

It may be something in the steering column, a bad connection where the turn signal is activated without you moving the stock, or the hazards are activated without you turning them on, tilt the steering column all the way up and drive around, tilt it all the way down and drive around, I'm just thinking out loud here trying to help

I'm sorry, that link cleared it up. I have replaced that flasher, twice. I never thought about driving around the block without it though. So, without that flasher, if the noise stops, even though I've replaced it, where do I go from there? If it is a bad connection somewhere does that entail replacing the whole switch assembly anyway?
