hey man, sorry to hear about your problem.. the BCM of my truck just got recently replaced last month due to the car not starting, and on new years eve my truck did not start again ....

well it got towed again (4times already) and stayed with the dealer for 4 days for diagnostics ... they found out that the fuel relay system was not working ...

but then the car ran out of battery, nothing is working, car is not cranking, all these because of the fuel realy system??? see now i know something is draining the battery and making the whole car messed up ... sigh ...

don't know what to do now .....

yeah this is the ****iest thing ever, We've jump started that truck like over 20 times, im going to take it to the dealer n tuesday so they can re-program the BCM. Have they looked into doing that with yours? can you jump start your truck and will it stay on?

Same happend with my 07 Z71 Burb. It would not start intermittantly, but you could not neccessarily re-create the conditions which caused it not to start. Took it to the dealer and once again it did not start when I went to show them. So then they had it for the next 24 hours and it did not exhibit another non start the rest of the time. They took a guess of what was wrong, replaced the fuel pump solenoid switch and its started every time since. Have them try that!

they have replaced my BCM and 2 weeks later the car did not start again ... i called onstar to jump the truck and that did not work, so it was towed where they replaced the fuel relay system now.... it has been an ongoing process and the car was rejected by GMC for replacement through the lemon law program, so now my attorney is sueing GMC .. might take months though :eek2: well let me know your status.

So did the problem remain after the fuel systems work they did on it? Like I mentioned earlier, once they replaced my fuel pump solenoid, I have not had any further issues.

next time you go to the dealer to argue for a new one, bring a sexy seductive swim suit model with you, that might get you what you want.
