Help on A/C problem

I have a 2002 Tahoe, 4wd, 5.3L w/rear a/c. Just replaced the entire a/c system (compressor, drier, condensor, expansion valves, etc). All was working great. A week later the battery died. After installing new battery now only the rear a/c works. The front will blow out of top vents by windshield but no other front vents have any air output. Did something short, or does anyone know what to look for to fix? thanks.

Did you find out what the problem was? I'm having the same problems, after changing my battery.

Chances are your mode door actuator shorted out.. its located under the left side of the instrument panel mounted on the hvac case assy to the right and just above the gas pedal its a little black box with about a 4 to 5 circuit connector plugged into it and it has a somewhat of a half moon gear attached to it its not easy to chage
