ok, went to put in the new HIDs i got in today, i hooked it all up and am ready to go except i cant get the positive battery cable to reconnect, im afrait that the wire sticking out of it is the issue, but tried it with out the wire and had no luck eather. gm did not think this threw when decideing where to put the battery, as it is about imposable to get a socket wrench in there.

tried to lift it out, but it is bolted down, so i un bolted it, but the thing needs a battery holder to get it out as it weights like 100 pounds, i had a service change it the first time. SUCKS.

any help please. i cant run my truck now. LOL.

you need a battery rachet to put the side terminals on

or use a small wrench 8MM or 5/16" same thing either way

and if you stripped the bolts you gotta pick up new ones, they are designed to strip easily so dont over tighten them, they do this so that way you dont strip out your battery instead (seeing as its more expensive than the bolts..)
