How to program 07 tahoe key?

I got the key cut, but I have hard time finding the instruction on programming the key. I am sure that I just am not using the right search words to find the instruction.

I know you can help. Thank you in advance.

From ZX/Dave: "With a previously learned master key, turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Turn OFF the ignition and remove the key. Within 10 seconds insert the key to be learned. Turn ON the ignition with the engine OFF. The vehicle has now learned the new key."

I had one made at the GM dealer and if I unhook the battery the new key will not work and have to re-teach it. Is this normal?
