yes it can. but if u are using the programmer it has to be plugged into the vehicle it came from first. when u use the hypertech programmer it takes your stock info and saves it on the programmer while putting the hypertech info on your vehicle's computer. u have to swap back or the programmer is useless.
i got a hypertech power tuning module i would sell if the price is right. it currently on my '97 2 door chevy tahoe. it isn't the programer it is a "piggyback chip" that has the engine tuning settings (doesn't allow adjustments for tire size/gear ratio like the programmer) only. it adds noticeable power and suggests using 93 octane. i could surely feel a difference and it saves mad gas when towing my boat. i prolly get about 6mph more at 2000rpm in 4th gear towing than i did without it
