so i have a 2002 tahoe with lvl kit. i can fit 33s with no rub. i have 305/45/22 that fit but they dont stick out wide. Now i have some 20inch tires laying around and they are 275/55/20. now i was wondering whats the lowest offset rims i can go with on my truck. can i put some -24 offset rims on with these 275/55/20s?

you need a backspacing of at least 4.5 so i wouldn't go with any lower than -12. get -12 offset rims that are 10 inches wide and tires like 33 x 12.5 x whatever size rim. you'll get a good stance and have no backspacing or clearance problems
