Subject; 07 LTZ Tahoe. The drivers side door handle is broken....something actually snapped when I went to open it and now, it just kind of flops back and forth with no resistance...like it's not attached to anything. My question is; can this be fixed by just replacing the handle or does it sound like I need the whole cable latch assembly? Dealer gave me a price of $275 to fix unless it needs more parts when they get inside the panel so it could be even more. WTH kind of pricing is that? Any input would be appreciated!
