I'll be gettin my black on black LT2 within the next month  There are a couple things I was wondering before i get it.

1. Does anyone have the PAL (Personal Auio Link) for the ipod installed? And does it work through the nav?

2. Lock-Pick, that just makes it so you can use your nav while driving right? Does it do anything else?

3. With the new cell phone law do you have any good recommendations on bluetooth products?

I'm gonna search alittle more on here about lock-pick but I figured I'd ask while I'm typin this up!

I am pretty new too, but that qualifies me to answer question #1. I have done a ton of checking around and the PAL is not yet available for the tahoe.

If you search based on the year of tahoe, the PAL is not available it is available for an HHR and a couple of other vehicles but they are not compatible with our radios.

i just bought a 2008 LTZ and had Gen 4 of the GM_LockPick and IPodUnlock installed by a local radio technician. Both work great. The LockPick opens up the DVD for viewing while in gear and the navigation system is usagle while in gear also. However, I prefer using Mapquest on my home PC and sending to OnStar and then having that loaded than huntnpeck on the navigation screen keyboard. The IPodUnlock also works pretty slick. Installing these 2 unlock units is straight forward but, its takes some "brass" to pop off the wood trim around the radio and AC components hoping you don't bust a clip. Betterf if you have some that's done it help you. I would recommend them both especially if you're on the interstate driving a lot.
