Right now I think my disc is a 2007 disc 3-0 part number 25850927U. Is it worth updating to the new 4.0 disc? Does it have alot more features or upgrades? Please let me know.

ya..kinda. Its allows you to scroll down the menu of XM channels and CD-R folders while driving at any speed.
But id you know someone with DVD 4.0, just use there disc to install the new software/firmware and then put your own DVD back in. The new scroll featuring will still work.
