Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and am looking for some guidance on an issue I have been having with my 2008 Tahoe's low and high beam headlights.
For the last couple of weeks, I've been seeing an intermittent problem where when the headlight switch is in the 'Auto' position, the high beams automatically come on and the low beams will not turn on alone.
Here's what I have done so far:
*Toggled switch to all positions
*Disconnected battery, let sit, reconnect
*Checked all relevant fuses and relays - all seem to be okay
*Replaced headlight switch entirely - brand new switch - did not fix issue.
Any other ideas? My wife got pulled over at dusk yesterday and the officer let her go with a warning once she explained the issue and informed him that I was already working on resolving the problem. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
