Anything I need to know before I do? It is my cousins and they are our next door neighbors and take great care of their cars..

So pretty much fully loaded minus DVD..
And I turn 16 in about a month and will hopefully be getting it within a couple months..

Also i think im going to get the Hypertech Max Energy E-Con to boost millage and a little better performance.. What do you think about those?

In 03 the Tahoe received an interior update, new seats, new dash design, and some other stuff, plus the upgraded DIC your talking about.

Not really much you need to know about their, other than that their good, reliable, solid trucks, that if you treat right will last well over 400k.

yep the controls and electronics changed alot and I like it alot better than the previous couple years..
So it does have mpg?
Cool well im hoping to get a 09 or '10 Camaro within a year or two after they come out cause they are SWEET!!

Yes, it would have the instant and average mpg readout.

We have the same vehicle but 4x4. Have gone through a fuel pump, water pump and now looking at a transmission rebuild at 105k miles. We don't abuse it and take better care of it than most other people would.

Take it to a mechanic or dealership, pay them an hour of labor to go over it. They can point out anything that may need attention.

Other than the above, it's been reasonably reliable.
