I just got a 99 tahoe lt, 4x4. Factory vehicle with 180k on the truck. Needs intake gaskets replaced but runs tough otherwise. This is my second chevy, always been a fod guy till the last one I bought, still have. Won't be buying another ford. Anyway I'm trying to find a permanent fix for this intake gasket thing, maybe an aftermarket intake I don't know. Plan to replace the engine, trans, and t case with crate rebuilds and I'll be doing basic mods otherwise. Already have cargo drawers and a new center console drawn up and have been looking into a way to run 33 inch tires without a lift. Or at least with a short lift. Sawzall and some offset leaves maybe. Don't know yet. Will be a daily driver/ bug out vehicle. Mainly want to mod it for longevity. Aux oil cooler, aux trans cooler, ect. Matching trailer with extra spares and cargo space. I'm into outdoor stuff
