Hi guys, Im looking for a little bit of info on TPMS with new wheels. I've looked at some past posts that are telling me that you can reuse the TPMS with new wheels but Im just wondering what the chances are of this being done successfully? Seems like it would be hell trying to get them out without screwing them up. Has anyone had any experiences with this. I know that I can get new ones mounted on the wheels for $129 bucks. Does this seem reasonable? Auto parts place wants 45.99/ea. for em but I could swear the Discount Tire Co. quoted me 92 bucks for all four when I priced tires. Thanks in advance.

Ok, Discount Tire aint a bad spot but make sure the TPMS they are selling you actually works with your factory sensor pickups... I know they sell systems at Discount that work with an aftermarket pickup that mounts some place in the vehicle and is hideous! I am not sure they sell TPMS sensors that work with the factory system.

The factory TPMS that is on the stock tires comes off pretty easily with some standard tools and Discount can do this for you... dont let them up sell you because they are full of S*it.

I have a set of aftermarket 20" and I have the factory TPMS sensors on them

Good luck, dont let discount bang you!

Thanks for the response. I was wanting to reuse the original ones anyway, just seemed like they would be very fragile.
