hi im chris , just bought a 99 tahoe w a few issues i may need need some input on and hopefully help others out as well . my gas gauge is very irratic and spinns in circles havent had time to check wiring , but the previous owner said he replaced the sending unit, i was thinking sending unit or cluster??

:welcome:......Sending unit is part of the fuel pump located inside the fuel tank. This is not a cheap procedure, and I would recommend changing the unit or have a reputable company do. Be sure you replace it with an AC DELCO ASSY along with am AC DELCO INLINE FUEL FILTER. How is it I know, mine was fine until recently one morning I went to the garage to warm up the Tahoe, it would not start. I called the wrecker and sent it to my local NAPA shop and got it back the next day. You might want to ask the previous owner for the receipt(if there is one) so you can get the warranty.
