I have a question to ask about the radio/cassette size for a 1996 Tahoe? I want to replace the existing one that came with it from the Chevy factory but I don't know if I need to purchase one that is a...DOUBLE DIN...DIN AND HALF...SINGLE DIN...

So any help would be great help!!!:D

The opening left by a factory head unit is DIN and a half.
A few aftermarket companies have DIN and a half models,
but typically lack many of the features of the DIN models.
There are also many companies that make adapters to fit DIN steroes into DIN and a half holes. Walmart even carries all of the above.
