question on high performance cam

I was looking through the rpo codes and noticed I have code "L31" which is "409 CID V8 400 HP (Special High Perfromance Solid Lifter Cam). I was just curious if this is the standard cam or any history about this.

The L31 you have is a 350 CID V8 255 HP with a hydraulic roller cam
