Howdy Folks, new member, first post...My son is trying to change out the nylon gear in the rear hatch window motor...Anyone ever undergone the proceedure? The problem is removing the old (stripped) gear from behind the solenoid. He actually located the gear here, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Plastic-Hel...AC-SUV-LIFTGATE-MOTOR-ACTUATOR-/251404463350? And sent me these pics of the solenoid drive unit. Anybody have any experience in R&R-ing one of these units?
