Red wire under the hood

Any ideas as to what this wire is for?
My truck is an 07 Tahoe, no Bose, no nav. with on star

Ihave an 07 as well.
I'm hoping it is the lead to one of the 7 in the trailer connector at the back.
I have yet to test for continuity.

I suspect it would be the normal power lead for aux lighting on a trailer
i need to find where the blue terminates for electric brakes.

There is a wiring harness that just plugs in under the dash for the trailer brake also the red wire is for the battery on the trailer to charge or supply power to the trailer when hooked up

The trailer harness should have come in the glove box with the truck you only need to connect the red wire and install the fuse
