Removing front tow hooks....adding fog lights

has any removed the front lower tow hooks and added fog lights?

was it a hard process?
where did you get the fog lights that fit the 99 tahoe body style?

I did that back when I first got the tahoe. I have since changed everything around. It wasn't that hard and I used some small PIAAs foglights.

I didn't remove my hooks cuz i have them in chrome. I did use a Dremel & modded the air
dam with my own cutouts so the fog lamps fit into the hole & cover the space roughly halfway between the hooks & the mounting bolt for the air dam itself. Piece of cake if your a little technical in the electrical & mods area. Took me no longer than 3 hours with the usual nosey onlookers asking questions.
