Hey dudes. I cant remember if I asked this already in this forum.

I got these chrome 20s. some friends installed them for me one day. and then while I was driving down the road, one fell off.

anyway. I got some new wheels because the mechanic at the shop I took it to said that the wheel wouldnt be a good idea to run it anymore.
he said that it fell off because it had the wrong lug nuts on that wheel. like a beveled lug instead of a flat one was used. anyway. I got 3 good wheels and one that is questionable.

who can give me a real answer on this? cause (after other work I had done at that shop) they can suck it.. and now I hate them.

anyway. they looked good for the 3 days I ran them. can the lug hole ( if really badly damaged) be machined a bit to get a better connection with the lug nut?>

the only reason im asking is that I want to get them out of the garage.

would they be worth anything to anyone on here? should I take them to the metal scrap man? I cant find a matching wheel on ebay so far.

let me know what you dudes think of that.

ok heres a pic of one of the wheels. They all pretty much look like this. Not really any pitting, just dusty from being in the attic of my garage for a year and a half... the center caps have a crack, but still hold ok and would look fine from more than 10 feet away.

anyway.. yeah.

I think we all need "friends" like that ;). No damage to the truck, I assume?

I would put the wheels up on ebay anyway because there's a chance someone out there might want them, especially at the right price. They might even know how to fix it properly. Maybe someone only needs two good wheels to use on their trailer. Who knows?

As long as you give full-disclosure you might be able to get some cash. Even if it's just $50-$100, that's better than tossing in the garbage and getting nothing. If they don't sell on ebay, then you can toss them or give them away.

On second thought, metal thieves seem to be making a good earning. How much are they worth as scrap metal?

added pics of damage.

ok this isnt'great, but you can sort of see the problem Im having here. These are beveled, and the beveling part has taken some damage. I studied the good rims vs. the bad one, and the damage is minimal, but visible. Maybe I can take them down to a wheel shop and see... maybe make them into my "winter 20's" and put some nitto terra grapplers on there... if they come in 285 50 20. lol.

im sure they would be fine, it doesnt look that bad. why not just make a spcer that fits tightly in their to match each hole, that way its snug?

they are $33.33 each for the 3 good ones, and $0.01 for the knarly one.. please come get them if you think you want them. I just want there to be an understanding that the one wheel is going to take some work/or you run it at your own risk, etc. I want you to be safe etc.
Im not sure how much shipping is... maybe 25 per wheel ? I never shipped wheels before.

Im not sure what they are.. they dont have anything that distinguishes them at all. they are stamped with the size and depth, thats kind of it. Ill take a closer look but I didnt see anything.
