Replacing Factory Bose Amplifier

I have looked in a lot of places and have not been able to find any instructions or how-to videos on removing the center console on a 2008 Tahoe LT and replacing the factory amplifier. I somehow blew the front two channels and looking to buy an OEM amplifier to replace it. I don't want to tear up my car trying to figure it out on my own and trying to stay away from removing the seats if I have to. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for the reply but unfortunately this does not fix my problem. I already did this to add my aftermarket subs and amp. I'm trying to get information on removing the console between the seats to get to the factory amplifier so I can replace it. 2 channels are blown -the fronts.

see if this helps these are some of the locations of some screws holding the center console on passenger and driver side you will need to move seats all the way forward remove screw then all the way back and remove screws again from passenger and driver side.. at the rear open rear cup holders and there are 2 screws there.. if you have the rear ac controls like in the pic shown stick a small screwdriver between the crease a d it should pop right out a d disconnect all the electrical connectors.then the ones in the very front where you see the cover lifted.. there are i believe its either 2 or 4 in the center pocket were the cup holder is removable that pocket pops right out get a small screwdriver between the crease and you should be able to pop it right out then open the center console lid and theres a mat at the bottom under the mat theres 4 more screws that should be it now as you pulling out be careful because there are harness connectors you want to diconnect before completely removing it.. hope that helps

Try this. It's basically the above but maybe a little more detailed. It's the instructions for installation of the JL Stealthbox but the console removal part is obviously the same whether you got the stealth thing or not.
