Hi all,
I'm a new Yukon owner and new to the forums. I've so enjoyed my '04 Sierra SLT-2 that I've been trying to convince my wife we should look for a Tahoe or Yukon similarly equipped. She enjoys driving our Sierra but thought a Yukon would be "too big". Last week I finally prevailed and we purchased a very nice low mileage '06 Yukon XL Denali. She loves it as do I. It's all of 1" wider and 7 1/2" longer than her Mercury Marquis and about 7 1/2" shorter than our Sierra. So much for "too big".
Does anyone know if it's possible to install a backup camera system on the Denali? Her chief concern is backing up. She's learning to use the mirrors but I was thinking this might be helpful to her. It's no big deal to me, I've driven a truck all my life including some very large commercial rigs so I learned to use the mirrors and back them up.
I think the new ones, the 'o8's are coming with backup cameras and proximity sensors, are they not?
Any suggestions or advice will be appreciated.
Thanks much.
