I'm looking to get some more umph of the line.... what gears should i go for? I've got 3.73s now and was thinking about 4.56s... with stock height tires..

I don't care about mileage as gas is so cheap here, just need to know how much of a difference I would feel...

You'll really feel it with the 4.56's. I was/am planning to go with just 4.10's but I've got 35's on my hoe.

with 33's the 4.56's will be pretty torqey. you'll really notice the difference for sure.
if you plan on going any bigger with the tires the 4.56 will be middle of the road for 35's.

I prolly go for 4.86 for 35's. 4.10 just in not enough of a change.

edit> although I dont know of these axles will take a 4.86 gear now that I think about it :confused2:

I'm putting on 285/50/20s soon.. and since I don't want to do any internal mods or take the cats off (coz it would void the warranty) I might as well get the easiest bang for buck with the R&P.. No one would know they were in there, but it should fly....

I've taken my yukon up to 200kph if not more with around 2,200rpm left to go... on the rev limiter (I change at 5,900rpm)... I'm not looking to go anything faster then 220kph in this truck!!!

would the 4.56s be able to get me up there again?
