Royal Purple Max Cycle SAE 20W50?

should I put this in my 1995 5.7L? and why or why not?

I've read only poor reviews of Royal Purple.

It's horrible stuff!

The truck may eat that oil like hell. Tried it on my 94 Blazer years ago, ate about 2 quarts per thousand miles. The old man knows a thing or two about oil systems, said the Royal Purple was so pure it slipped through gaskets and seals. I was using a lower weight+viscosity though so who knows.
