Seat Conversion

Are any of the other model years compatible with these Tahoes? I'm looking to pick one up soon but the interior kinda needs a redo, I was just wondering if I could put some nicer seats in fron '00+.

Anytime you put seats in from a different generation some fab work will be required with that modification. I've not looked into this one specifically to tell you exactly what those mods are but the only way to really find out is find seats that you want and start measuring and figure out the best route to go.

I heard on the front seats you can swap the seat tracks....

i'm curious as well. but for me i have a broken driver side mounting "frame". this is (what looks like) a frame BETWEEN the seat and the track.

Yeah, I had a broken frame on my 95, pulled the foam back and welded it......

Side note, dont catch your seat foam on fire, lots of very drenched rags all over the area being welded...
