Is it possible for the engine to have a code and not trigger the service engine light. The reason I am asking is the other day mine came on and I had Autozone pull it and got two codes P0101 and P0455 (I think anyway it was for an EVAP leak). I know the P0101 has to do with the air volume calcuation that the engine does (I've been chasing it and thought I found the problem) and the P0455 code I had before and cleared it with the gas cap. So I resecured the gas cap and the engine light cleared within 5 minutes. So I wonder if the engine can still read the P0101 code without triggering the idiot light. Any assistance would be appreciated.
