Does any one know if the bulb for the volume control buttons on the steering wheel serviceable, or do you have to replace the whole switch? The "info" bulb on the wheel is also inop.

Just replace the whole button. Pops out with a small blade screw driver and then there is a harness behind it. Do a search on replacing steering wheel controls. It's very easy. Cost is about 25 for the switch from the dealer. The only thing I noticed is that the newer buttons from the dealer are a different shade of white for the lettering than the originals. No biggie so i just replaced my two upper buttons and left the trip and info buttons alone. Bought the switches at Courtesy in San Jose.

Thanks. I diddnt think that the switches were that cheap. I am a tech for volvo and volvo parts are expensive. So you dont have to pull the air bag? On volvos, the air bag has to come out in order for the switches to be removed.
