2007 Tahoe. I looked underneath and seen what I believe is the resonator except it's gigantic lol. Can I just replace this with a glass pack??

Lol completely understand how it sounds and perform and that's why I did it. Originally I got that SLP resonator delete kit that was linked. In the end I didn't like it because it was incredibly hard to keep clean so I removed it and left it as is (dumped after the rear axle). Wanna know the difference in sound/performance between that $100 SLP kit and just deleting the resonator for free? Absolutely NO difference. Sounds the same and performs the same. I also have a Magnaflow 12589 muffler installed. Sound is great with very little drone.

I'm just trying to determine where you're coming from with thinking its "cheesy". Have you done any of these mods? What were your experiences?

I just ordered the SLP kit and I'm quite sure I'll be very satisfied with it. It will be even easier than the Blastin Bob's dual resonator delete I put on the '12 Challenger R/T that I traded for my Hoe. Have a nice day.

I'm sure you'll be happy too. I was overall happy with the kit. Just really hard to keep clean for more than a couple of hours. I was just stating that the sound/performance with and without the SLP installed is negligible :waytogo: You can't lose either way because anything is better than that huge resonator hanging out back there lol
