I own a 2002 tahoe LS 2WD 4 liter truck. In the near future i will be towing around a boat that weigh approx. 4,500 lbs. Since my Tahoe is a 2WD i have been told that my car sits lower than 4WD models, especially at the rear tires. I also notice this when i park next another tahoe. I am concerned about hithcing up to the boat trailer and the tahoe now riding really low. I would like to get my truck to sit like the 4WD model

My question is this, can i just buy the oem shocks/coils for a 2002 4WD drive model and replace my existing ones? or would the whole suspension need to be redone?

I appreciate the help..thank you

Keep your current shocks. You are better off buying a set of "air bags" Or "air shocks" the install is pretty easy and it will help out with your sagging rear end.
