Tahoe Limited Rear Ground Effects

As we all know the Tahoe Limited has ground effects. One issue I have with them is that on only one side do you have an exhaust cut out. I noticed that Boosts old Limited had is passenger side cut out filled in like the driver's side. I am caught between either cutting the other side to match the factory cut out, or having it filled in. I want to do a dual exhaust setup: I already have my Magnaflow 2 in 1 out muffler. I plan on just using a Y pipe out of the back and have it dual out that way. Any suggestions about cutting and my exhaust?

Not a fan of duals but do whatever you like best. I'd smooth the passenger side and run the pipes so they dump out the corners of the bumpers, then you'd barely see the tips.
