towing with o5 z71

how much could i expect to tow with an 05 z71 tahoe with 3.42 also is there a code to tell if there is a tranny cooler . does the z71 package help with towing thanks tom

if i remember correctly my 05 yukons manual said that the towing capacity was around 7700 lbs.

the most i tow is around 3000 lbs and it handles it very well. i also have 3:42`s.

i tow almost 8000lbs with my boat and it handle fine. i have a LT with 4:10s

How do you know the gears? Is it on the pumpkin or somewhere?

My 04 kan tow 3,45t. I guess the sticker in the glovecompartment can tell you about the gears and other options.
