I have a 1999 chevrolet tahoe police unit. It only has 138,000 miles on it. When I get around 45 -55 mph, I can feel my torque converter engaging and disengaging. Other than that, It shifts out fine and drives fine. Any chance that this could be the torque converter solinoid? When I starts its problem, I can shift from overdrive to 3 and it doesnt do it anymore. The transmission fluid isnt burt or anything, its fairly clean. Any help?

mine does this, but at 52 mph. the RPMs go from 1500 to 1600 and back when I cruise at this speed. Can it be remedied?
