I am planning on puting new tires and wheels on my 1996 2dr tahoe and was wondering if a 3 inch body lift would allow me to fit 15x10 wheels with 33x12.5?

After doing a little more research I have decided against a body lift because I was also wanting to put a grille guard on and don't want to have to worry about it not being tall enough. Which I also don't have the cash to get a suspension lift. So if I put a 15x8 wheel on what would be the biggest tire that would fit without rubbing?

With a 15x8 you would be ok to run say a 285/75/15 IF you either crank the torsion bars or put an aftermarket torsion key set under it for added front end lift.
