So I have a 1998 Tahoe 4 door and am going to be towing with it and want to see who else tows with theirs. I don't want to hear about how you tow your lawn tractor though, I mean really tow.
I will be towing a car trailer loaded with my rock crawler (Jeep weighing around 4000 lbs) and want to...
No kits, 4 links are a very calculated set up as well. I recommend having a shop do this our your truck, as a poorly set up 4 link can ruin both on and off road performance.
How are your shocks and all your suspension bushings? I would check them out as well especially your bushings on your front and rear swaybars. Also perhaps lowering it some would help with this? Or upgraded swaybars.
I would read in depth into your laws as well. I know with NH for instance we have 30 inch bumper hieght law, but if your bumper has been tampered with I.E. lowered the hieght is then taken from the ends of the frame, wich is usually higher than the factory bumper.
If you get a lift kit that has 4 inch blocks and want good flex in the rear, do a shackle flip rather than new leaf springs.
